Welcome back to school, educators! We hope you had a restful, adventurous, and/or informative summer to get you into gear for the new year! Here at RoboKind we had adventures and fun on our own so here’s a recap of all that we accomplished along with trips and tricks for starting the school year strong.

Highlights from the summer

My wife and I went on an epic Italy trip in June! After checking out Rome and Florence, we did a 4 day hike in the Dolomites and wrapped up in Venice.

What was your favorite work memory from this summer?

I really enjoyed spending time at our Virtual Retreat in July. It was three days of fun, team competitions, (friendly) trash talk, and overall a great way to spend time with co-workers we don't tend to work with! Humble brag: my team won!

What's one update or feature from RoboKind this summer that you're most excited for districts to implement this fall?

Two come to mind: The ability for teachers to roster on RK Central and the Leaderboard on the RK Community!

As schools return this fall, what's one tip you'd give educators to make the most of RoboKind implementation from day one?

2 things:
1. I'd maximize the Calm Down and Calm Down Anywhere tools at the beginning of the school year to help lay a solid foundation.

As schools return this fall, what's one tip you'd give educators to make the most of RoboKind implementation from day one?

Start small to set yourself up for success. Begin with a smaller group of students to kick off implementation, and build confidence and momentum from there. The start of the school year can be so overwhelming so prioritizing easy (but meaningful!) wins can help you avoid burnout!!

We'd love to hear how you spent your summer and what's on your mind for the new school year! Please post in the RK Community.
