New Palestine Schools has partnered with RoboKind® to introduce Social Skills and Phonics instruction at three schools through support from the Indiana Department of Education grant program. The initiative uses RoboKind’s Virtual Avatar Teaching Assistants to enhance teacher-led lessons, offering consistent, engaging practice that helps students build communication, literacy, and confidence from an early age.
With this partnership, New Palestine Schools is deepening its commitment to equitable access to evidence-based instruction. The RoboKind programs combine CASE Endorsed Social Skills and Science of Reading-aligned Phonics, providing teachers with structured resources that improve IEP outcomes, strengthen early literacy foundations, and make social learning both meaningful and fun.
“New Palestine is creating classrooms where connection and communication come first,” said Stephen Burslem, Partnership Success Manager at RoboKind. “By combining Social Skills and Phonics, teachers can help students learn to express themselves and grow as readers at the same time.”
