Dr. Jessica Redcay

Dr. Jessica D. Redcay learned that RoboKind was going to issue the first female robot called Robon for it's new robots4STEM curriculum. Jessica received the first female robot, Robon. She completed the RoboKind training. In 2019, she started her Girls Who Code Robots Club. In addition to club meetings, the girls complete at least one hour of guiding coding instruction through RoboKind. The girls learn various coding terms. They demonstrate skill mastery through quizzes and performance tests. The girls apply what they are learning to ongoing projects. For example, the girls created lessons to teach to younger students. They used block coding to have Robin help co-teach the lesson! This club empowers girls to see that they are capable of making a positive impact on the world!
