West Washington School Corporation Expands Elementary Learning with RoboKind® Social Skills and Phonics

North Adams Community Schools in Indiana is partnering with RoboKind® to implement Social Skills and Phonics instruction at North Adams Elementary through a grant from the Indiana Department of Education. The programs are delivered by classroom teachers and supported by Virtual Avatar Teaching Assistants, which provide engaging practice opportunities that help students build literacy foundations and communication skills.

This partnership underscores North Adams Community Schools’ commitment to strengthening early learning outcomes and helping educators deliver structured, evidence-based instruction that supports kindergarten readiness, improves IEP outcomes, and enhances classroom engagement. The RoboKind curricula combine Science of Reading phonics with CASE Endorsed Social Skills, offering teachers scalable tools that reduce planning time while boosting student participation.

“North Adams Community Schools is advancing student learning by integrating social skills and phonics in meaningful, teacher-led ways,” said Stephen Burslem, Partnership Success Manager at RoboKind. “With Virtual Avatar Teaching Assistants supporting instruction, teachers can focus on guiding students through critical early learning milestones with confidence and consistency.”
